I’m a fifth-generation logger from Allagash. I got into politics because I was tired of people with big suits and soft hands in Augusta and Washington making decisions without regard for working families in our community and all across the state. The last election made it clear that the Democratic Party has too few leaders who have actually lived the challenges that working class people face every day. At a time when greedy corporations and wealthy special interests are running the tables in Washington, D.C., it’s clear we need leaders here in Maine who will stand up, speak out and fight for every day, working class people. That’s something I’ve done my entire life from the woods in northern Maine to the halls of the State House.

Join me as I consider how to continue fighting for working Mainers.
